Mapua Playground is a Tasman District Council neighbourhood play space beside the Mapua Community Hall on Aranui Road in the heart of Mapua village. The reserve has wheelchair-accessible paths, parking, and toilets, with the upgraded Aranui Road shared path making it easier to walk or cycle in from the Mapua Wharf precinct. Pair with the wharfs food and craft shops or the Mapua Playcentre next door for a relaxed half-day. A village-anchored neighbourhood stop rather than a destination playground.
