Castlecliff playground sits inside Castlecliff Domain, Whanganui's main beach reserve 7km from the city centre on the Tasman Sea coast. The destination adventure playground combines slides, swings, a rope climbing structure and a flying fox with the Castlecliff Skatepark and a basketball court for older kids. The wider reserve covers many hectares of dune land with free electric BBQs, the Duncan Pavilion, changing rooms, toilets, showers and patrolled summer swimming. Best treated as a full beach-and-play day stop.

Great Playground. Big grassy area with plenty of playground equipment. Has Toilets, BBQ & Rubbish Bins. Plenty of parking. Shady area’s under Tree’s. Bike Track right beside.

Free camp site , parking area with a beautiful view. Clean Toilets and cold showers nearby. Close to the beach.
