Brains Park (Onewherowhero) is a Kelston sports park anchoring West Auckland AFC and other local clubs, with sports fields, tennis courts, a clubhouse and public toilets across the site. The playground, geared toward older children, sits next to a multi-use court with brightly coloured seats and tables for younger children, hanging ropes, climbing bases and dip bars. The Kawerau name Onewherowhero references the reddish clay of the surrounding Waikumete area; gates are open 7am–9pm.
