A destination playground tucked inside Wellington Botanic Garden, recently refurbished with a colourful bee theme. The fully fenced space packs in slides, swings, a flying fox, monkey bars and climbing structures for a wide age range. There is no direct road access, so visitors walk in from the Glenmore Street or Upland Road entrances and the cable car top.

One of the best playgrounds we’ve visited. It’s spacious, creative, and perfect for kids of different ages. Set within beautiful gardens, it’s a great spot for families to relax while the kids burn off energy. Clean, well maintained, and an ideal place to spend a few hours outdoors.

This is a fantastic playground, nestled within the botanic Gardens. Not only is there great equipment for children of a range of ages (a number of slides, flying fox, monkey bars, swings and other climbing equipment), there is plenty of shade, tables, and bathrooms! It really ticks all the boxes.
