Bishopdale Park is a Christchurch City Council park on the corner of Harewood Road and Leacroft Street, known locally as the Elephant Park for its iconic concrete elephant slide. The playground combines the gentle Elephant Slide and bucket swings for the under-fives with a mega-slide built into the hillside, a flying fox, climbing wall and multi-play structure, see-saw, swings, spring rockers and an army-style obstacle course. Adjacent are a skate park, a basketball half-court, public toilets, picnic tables, park benches and a drinking fountain.
