Nunweek Park is a 20 hectare Christchurch sports park on Harewood-Wooldridge Road, with hockey, rugby, soccer and cricket fields filling most of its 2 kilometre perimeter. The playground sits alongside the fields with see-saws, swings, a slide and a jungle gym aimed at primary-aged kids, paired with public toilets, off-street parking and a cafe nearby. A fenced dog exercise area on site makes it a popular family stop on weekends. Best treated as a sports-and-playground combo rather than a destination play space.

The playground is a bit exposed to the wind and or sun It's a standard playground, The park it self is excellent if you need to run the dog and get the kids out for a bit of fresh air. Toilet, dog water, water fountain rubbish bins. soccer and rugby fields great park for a walk..30-40 min. Fish n chips and Dairy 2min drive away.
Nunweek playground is suitable for children age 3 - 8, and is equipped with slide, solo spinner, rocktapus, see-saw & swings. The playground is situated on the north side of the very busy Nunweek park sport ground.
