Abberley Park is a 2-hectare Christchurch City Council heritage park in St Albans, with two playgrounds split across the East and West Lawns (one for toddlers near the pool and one for older kids). Equipment includes a block-wall climber, multi-play structure, roundabout, see-saw, slides and swings. The park's standout feature is a fenced 30cm-deep paddling pool open mid-November to 31 March (no lifeguards on duty). Around the play areas are a scented garden, a heritage summer house, mature trees offering shade, wheel-friendly pathways and picnic lawns with public toilets.

Beautiful place. Great children playground, peaceful just you and your partner relaxing spots, responsible dog walkers, clean and tidy. Can enjoy the flowers/gardens, a walk or a bigger gathering. There is even a hall to hire for bigger functions. I recommend this place for alot of different reasons. 1 to consider.

Very beautiful and quiet park surrounded by lovely neighborhood. My kids love spending time on this park, especially during their off school hours. Overall, the park area is clean and save for children, especially the playgrounds. Toilet is available in the area.
