Whitireia Park is a 180-hectare Greater Wellington Regional Council coastal headland reserve north of Tītahi Bay overlooking Mana Island and the Porirua Harbour entrance. The park combines coastal cliffs, safe-swimming beaches, open grasslands, streams and wetlands with a network of walking, mountain-biking and horse-riding tracks. Popular for picnicking, kitesurfing, diving, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing and orienteering, with the main entrance off Whitireia Road from Tītahi Bay.
