Wairua Reserve Playground is an Auckland Council Orakei Local Board play space on Remuera Road in Remuera, set under large established trees for plenty of shade. The natural play design includes a flying fox, basket swing, rope bridge, log climber, balance beams, a small slide, swings, and a roundabout, with the layout co-designed with students from St Kentigern Girls School. The playground is not fully fenced but set back from the road with clear sightlines. Remuera Village is a short walk for toilets and coffee. Well-regarded by Remuera families and a relaxed nature-leaning stop rather than a destination playground.

Nice shady playground. Kids enjoyed the flying fox. Not heaps of things to do. Once they went on everything, they lost interest. Good seats for the adults.

Nice little playground . Good place to relax under the trees. Theres no flying fox in the park. The park got a wobbly bridge, stepping logs, balance beams, slide, see saw, basket swing, toddler swing, round-a-bout and log pyramid. No public toilets. Nice and quiet park
