Little Rangitoto Reserve is an Auckland Council Orakei Local Board reserve on Upland Road in Remuera, a few minutes from the Remuera shopping village and built over the footprint of a former scoria volcanic cone that was quarried away. The colourful playground packs in a double blue slide, climbing pieces, tunnels, ramps, monkey bars, balance equipment, swings (toddler and standard), and a popular flying fox, with a circular scooter and bike loop and a concrete skate bowl beside the play space. Dogs are allowed on lead. Well-regarded by Remuera families as one of the suburbs go-to play stops with the bonus of cycling laps.
