Terry Came Drive Playground is a Waipa District Council neighbourhood play space on Terry Came Drive in Cambridge North, opened October 2023 alongside Transland Developments housing in the area. The playground is built around inclusion with a wheelchair-accessible spinner, basket swing, musical play, in-ground trampoline, hamster wheel, slide, and a tunnel, plus a basketball half-court, fitness equipment, sheltered BBQ, and a concrete loop perfect for biking, skating, or scootering. Toilets and shade on site. Cameras were installed after the 2024 vandalism incident; council maintains the space ongoing. Well-regarded as one of Cambridges newer destination-style playgrounds.

Great playground but the dinging noise from where the sail normally goes is super annoying and loud. Get super over it very quickly. Needs to get sorted ASAP.

We loved this park. It’s so beautifully done. Cool musical instrument flowers, round about, swings, tunnel, slides, hamster wheel, little trampoline. There’s a lovely sheltered area above the bbq, nice public toilet, lovely pump track, plus you can even work out while watching the kids on the adult exercise station. We really liked this park, it’s modern and beautifully done. Visually appealing with all of the rubber matting etc. Not much of a detour from SH1! We will be back.
