Te Wati Park (formally Te Wati / Maungatapu Park) is a 2.85-hectare Tauranga City Council sports reserve on Te Hono Street in the Maungatapu suburb. The site hosts winter football and summer cricket with text-operated floodlights and is also used for walking, jogging and casual recreation. A small neighbourhood playground sits beside the sports area with picnic seating, parking and toilets on site - a working community sports stop rather than a destination playground.

Very clean and tidy park. Toilets available. Busy park often with sports going on if you're interested in watching. Nice to see dogs being taken for a walk and controlled at the same time.

Kids enjoy playing on the playground. And my dog and I enjoy walking around the field. Nice place.
