Te Rangi Hiroa Youth Park is a destination adventure playground in Rānui, West Auckland, built around the Waharua kōpito diamond concept by Isthmus and opened in October 2016. Two artificial-turf hills are linked by an obstacle course, with climbing walls, ropes, a membrane slide and tyre climbing rows, plus a BMX race track and multi-sport half and full courts alongside. A whānau shelter, two BBQs, picnic tables and car parking make it a full afternoon stop for tweens and teens, with primary-aged kids welcome under supervision. Open 7am to 9pm in summer and 7am to 7pm in winter.
