Birdwood Winery Estate Reserve is part of Auckland Councils Te Rangi Hiroa youth park, off Glen Road and Birdwood Road in Ranui, designed as a west Auckland destination for older kids and teens. The play space features two artificial-turf hills at different angles joined by a unique obstacle course, plus a climbing wall, rope course, slide, tyre climb, skating elements, and multi-sport half and full courts. Accessible toilets, parking, a shelter, BBQs, and a drinking fountain support longer family visits. Best for ages 12 and older chasing adventure play rather than a toddler-friendly destination.

Nice quiet place to get away but definitely out of the way if youre not from the area

Nice park, huge fenced full court with a seperate single hoop. Has toilet facilities and a water fountain. The car park could do with a seal but that’s about it, good spot.
