Paremuka Lakeside is an Auckland Council restored stormwater wetland reserve in Henderson, with ponds that detain and cleanse runoff from the Paremuka Stream. The reserve doubles as a sanctuary for native birds and freshwater fish, with a flat gravel and boardwalk loop suitable for prams and wheelchairs around the ponds. The playground sits on the corner of Espalier Drive and Mulvaney Crescent and features a junior play module with climbing and a slide, a small see-saw, swings and a basket swing. Picnic tables, artworks and a jetty for toy boats sit alongside.

Such a lovely place for a walk and to relax. Quite place, clean and tidy as well. I'm so happy to have this just in 3 min drive. I can pack my sandwich and coffe, find a big tree for shadow to enjoy my own company. Such a incredible place to feel and heal. 💚 Good place to visit with family with kids and pet.

Went there on the 1st of Jan, it was very quiet which was awesome. Kids enjoyed learning to ride their bikes with no one around. Nice place to walk with little ones.
