Te Huia Reserve Playground sits on the corner of Te Huia Drive and Wisteria Place in Flagstaff, north-east Hamilton, and opened in 2018. The play area packs in a large climbing frame, play net, swings, slide, spinners and a mini scooter track, with the reserve doubling as part of the Te Awa O Katapaki Esplanade walkway and bike path. It is a popular local stop for Flagstaff and Rototuna families looking for a short, active visit rather than a destination day-out. Kerbside parking on the surrounding streets serves the reserve.

Another nice heartland playground with some substantial play areas, with swings, small slide and large climbing structure. Enough space to sit down and watch the kids and a comfortable riding track around the playground for easy cycling or scooting. The surrounding neighbourhood is decent and generally looks safe.
