Owen Stalker Park is a Waimakariri District Council park on Rangiora-Woodend Road in Woodend, connected to Woodend School and the wider Woodend Recreation Reserve. The 2021 train-themed playground refresh kept the much-loved train as the centrepiece, joined by an epic slide, a toddler-friendly BMX track, and a flying fox, with the recreation reserve adding tennis courts, sports fields, and a skateboard half-pipe. Well-regarded by Woodend families thanks to the train theme. A solid local stop rather than a destination playground.
