Seaward Bush Reserve is an Invercargill City Council native bush reserve on Mason Road about 9km southeast of central Invercargill, protecting a large remnant of regenerating kamahi forest with tree ferns. Two walking tracks form a flat, family-friendly 3km figure-eight loop through the forest (around 40 minutes), starting from a sheltered picnic area with accessible toilet and roadside parking. Native birds like tūī and fantail are regular sights; the reserve doubles as an outdoor classroom for local schools.
