Remembrance Park is a Horowhenua District Council memorial garden park on the corner of Cambridge and Bath Streets in central Levin, officially renamed in August 2010 to honour the servicemen and women listed on the refurbished Cenotaph. The Cenotaph steps are lit at night as permanent poppy boxes, with mature shade trees, extensive lawns, and toilets nearby beside historic Thompson House. A reflective central Levin memorial reserve rather than a playground; for play head to the Levin Adventure Park.

I visited the "Poppy Park" for ANZAC day. This is a really nice public space just off the centre of town. It is well cared for. Some seating to enjoy the sun, a cafe across the road.

We, as a Family always attend the Anzac Service at this lovely park close to home. We like to Honour and remember the Sacrifices made by so many for us, so we get to live in a our Country free of Strife and War as our National Anthem States. 🏵️🇳🇿
