Playford Park is Horowhenua District Council's second most-used sports ground, on Bartholomew Road in Levin. The site has multiple sports fields with lighting towers, a softball cage, a sand field and a sports pavilion - training base for rugby union, rugby league, softball and touch rugby and a venue for regional and national tournaments. A neighbourhood playground with climbing equipment sits beside the sports fields and a further revamp adding changing rooms, toilets and multi-use rooms is planned; the park is a working community sports hub rather than a destination playground.

I take My Grandson here for kung fu twice a week, he absolutely loves it. It seems to be a safe park as the adults (who are doing all sorts of sport) I've seen keep an eye on any children around, some kids were given a stranger danger talk this week. 👍👍 …

Lovely park, clean and cut nicely, my grandchildren train at this park, Im from out of town and it was lovely to see the kids have safe fun there too
