Raumati Marine Gardens sits just behind Raumati Beach on the Kāpiti Coast, a destination beachfront playground set among mature trees and flower beds. Standout features include a summer splashpad, flying fox, sandpit with digger, plus traditional swings and climbing equipment, and the Kapiti Miniature Railway runs a dual-gauge 5'/7¼' loop through the park on Sunday afternoons with live-steam locomotives, bridges and tunnels.
