Queen Elizabeth Park is Masterton's 32-hectare flagship town park, accessed off Dixon Street near the CBD. The community-built Kids Own Playground sits within it and features swings, slides, a large spider-web climbing frame, an upgraded giant flying fox and accessible equipment, with a fenced Tiny Tot section for under-fives. The wider park also offers a deer viewing area, miniature train, mini putt, boating lake, BMX track and a scooter/skate park, plus public toilets, picnic space under big trees, and parking on Dixon Street and Memorial Drive.
