Puketawhero Park is a Rotorua Lakes Council sports park in Ōwhata, accessed off Te Ngae Road and Vaughan Road, used as the home ground for local rugby league. The playground sits within the wider sports park with swings, a snake rope swing, a slide, climbing equipment and a half basketball court, plus an adjacent skate park with ramps. Recent upgrades added 90 car parks across two carparks and competition-quality field lighting.
