It's an ok playground. Few things to do for the slightly older kids, good separate playground for the little ones.

Parkway Family Playground is a large park alongside the Wainuiomata River with separate playground areas for different ages. The main playground has slides, swings, climbing equipment and a flying fox for older kids, while the fully fenced 755 square metre Parkway Junior Playground for toddlers and preschoolers features a Diabolo climbing structure, swings (including a baby bucket), a seesaw, shaded seating and a splash pad with a 1.8 metre SunFlower water feature. The park has free off-street parking, public toilets, picnic tables and BBQ facilities.

Great place for full family play. The ropotus is the fun part. Good parking around the place for free.
