Bell Park is a Hutt City Council reserve at 48a Bell Road in Waiwhetu, formerly the home of Lower Hutt City Association Football Club and now base for the Ignite Sport Centre after the club's building was purchased in 2019. The reserve is being progressively upgraded by Hutt City Council with new access paths from Douglass Street and Riverside Drive, recreational paths, landscaping and tree planting. The path entries feature mana whenua artwork honouring culturally significant local waters and themes of manaakitanga. The playground sits alongside the sports facilities, making it best treated as a sports park with a playground attached.

Ignite Sport has a wonderful new facility at Bell Park. It was celebratory opening day this weekend.

Our house backs onto this park. Now that the park been turned into a sports ground it's nice to see the kids back playing games.
