Owen Mitchell Park is a 4-hectare Christchurch City Council park on Grimseys Road in Redwood, used by Papanui-Redwood AFC for football and connected to the Northern Cycleway. The fenced playground includes swings, slides and a flying fox for varied ages on grass and bark surfacing, with picnic tables, parking and public toilets close by. Walking and running paths circle the open lawns.

Huge open space for everyone to play games, run around, or enjoy being still. Access to toilets, as well as the Northern Cycleway.

Visited to walk my miniature dogs. Love the forest, tree settings in a couple of areas. Playground for the kiddies. Big field and park area for walking. Friendly people. Nice area.
