Mungavin Park is a 2-acre Porirua City Council reserve on Mungavin Avenue / McKillop Street in Rānui, distinguished by a small but significant remnant of podocarp-broadleaved forest with mature kahikatea, hīnau and tītoki. The site has netball and tennis courts, indoor sport hall, walking paths, a wheelchair-friendly playground, picnic seating and on-site toilets - a quieter sports-and-bush local stop rather than a destination playground.
