Larsen Park is a Wellington City Council neighbourhood reserve accessed from Kiwi Place and Larsen Crescent in Tawa, bought by council in 2001 after a community campaign saved its huge mataī trees from a housing development. The play area sits on an expansive flat grassed area, refreshed by the council in 2024 alongside neighbouring Taylor Park. Best treated as a quiet local Tawa stop with mature native trees alongside the play space.
