Hayman Park Playground (Manu-kau Noa Iho) in Manukau is South Auckland’s flagship destination playground, anchored by Aotearoa’s tallest play tower at 12.9m with integrated climbing walls, rope bridges, tunnels and giant slides across all levels. The surrounding rubber terrain incorporates native and Pasifika plant designs by Ngāti Te Ata Waiohua artist Amiria Puia-Taylor, alongside air swings, flying foxes, sandpit, fenced toddler area and a skate park. The playground sits a short walk from Manukau train station, the MIT campus and shopping district; it opened in two stages, Stage 1 in 2019 and Stage 2 in 2023.

Great place to take the kids. Big enough for parents to climb and play with their kids if wanted. Some parts are still fenced off and being constructed but still a lot of space for kids to run around and use up energy. Massive skate bowl, 2x flying foxes, sandpit etc. There is something to keep every child entertained

This is a very large kids playground on the popular Hayman Park in Manukau. The location is easily accessible by road and proximity to the Westfield mall also makes it a very good place to bring kids while one can shop in the mall. …
