Manu-kau Noa Iho / Hayman Park is an Auckland Council park beside Manukau town centre, home to South Auckland's first destination playground (Stage Two opened July 2023). The 12.8-metre play tower designed by Wraight Athfield Landscape + Architecture is the tallest play tower in New Zealand, with three climbing walls, four rope climbing bridges and tunnels, two slides, a see-saw at the top, game panels, toy binoculars and a telescope, motion-sensor lights and a staircase for caregivers. The wider park has a skate flow bowl, two basketball half-courts, a dedicated nature-play area, musical equipment, a separate toddler zone, parking on Ronwood and Davies Avenues, toilets and picnic spaces.

Wow such a big park in the city area of Manukau. It's right next to the Train Station and MIT. I found free parking near the lower part of the park, opposite Bunnings, entrance on Lambie Dr. If you want to park next to the playground its $1.50 first hour, $2 second hour, up to 6pm (week days). There are ducks near the pond, the playground is big, basketball hoops, toilets and there's a skate park.

It's SUPER pretty! I had a little picnic and the vibe was amazing. Could catch a sunset too. Hayman Park is another popular park in Auckland, known for its spacious grounds …
