Hart Domain is a Henderson neighbourhood reserve at 1 Vitasovich Avenue in west Auckland, popular for picnic, walking and a play. The fenced playground includes swings, slides, climbing frames and a colourful climb-on taniwha sculpture under summer shade sails. Walking and running paths cross the open lawn, with climbing trees and the Oratia Stream path linking off the domain.

All my kids loved it here. 1y, 3y, and 6y. We parked by kmart and walked to the park. Easy walk. UPDATE Sadly, we went there this week and saw that a lot of the hands on the lizard structure are made of glass and are broken. I was so concerned my 2y would cut his hand if he needed support while climbing. Pics of some of the broken hand prints.
Although a bit wet this morning I still enjoyed the peacefulness and quietnessbpf the surroumding. Great place to meditate a little or if you are up to sweat it out then prolly do some running/jogging.
