Hardie Street Reserve sits at the corner of Hardie Street and Fitzherbert Avenue in West End, Palmerston North, completing the riverbank reserve network along the Manawatū River. The open space hosts events such as the Festival of Colours and connects into the city walking network, with picnic tables, seating, shade, toilets and on-street parking close at hand. A small playground sits within the reserve.

You get out of this place what you want.. Access to the river is great and parking is not too bad.

What a great place on the outskirts, yet close to the city, accessible for horses, cyclists, walkers , scooters, skates.. the lot... lovely open spaces, tree areas, BMX trucks, forts in trees... very impressed PNC..
