The Junior Road Safety Park sits inside Victoria Esplanade in Palmerston North and teaches children aged 2-10 about road safety on a scaled mini road network with working traffic lights, give-way and stop signs. The site also has an off-road pump track with small jumps and banked corners, plus seating, shelter and a bike pump station; donated bikes can be booked for group use.
