Gleniti Park is a Timaru District Council reserve on Gleniti Road, set among lush landscapes with interconnecting ponds and walking paths. The playground mixes swings with bounce-square matting, seesaws with a balance bar, stumps along the walkway, leapfrog circles around a large bush and 10 wooden posts for sidestep games, all suitable for primary-aged kids. The wider park has free BBQs next to communal kitchens, picnic tables, reservable shelters and pedal-car hire, plus toilets and parking. Best treated as a half-day family picnic destination rather than a quick play stop, as part of Timaru's Play43 trail.
