George Glassey Park is a large Ashburton District Council neighbourhood reserve on the eastern side of Tinwald, with a playground built around its big drawcard, a huge twirly slide thats safe for young climbers thanks to fully enclosed sides on the way up. Swings, ropes, picnic spots, toilets, and a walkway link between Graham Street and Agnes Street round out the reserve, which is largely open lawn with few trees. The park is also a designated off-leash dog exercise area, and it is consistently well-regarded by Tinwald families. A relaxed local park rather than a destination playground.

Nice playground. Unfortunately no toilets.

I think all it needs is a public toilet and a drinking water tap
