Frimley Park is one of Hastings' best-loved heritage reserves, gifted by the Williams family in 1951 and home to a Kew-Gardens-inspired rose garden of 5,500+ roses opened in 1967. The accessible playground sits among rare specimen trees with brightly coloured astro-turf zones, a wheelchair-friendly roundabout, swings, slides, a rope climb, bongo drums, talk tubes and a scooter path - praised by parents as one of the area's most inclusive play spaces. The wider park has football and cricket fields, a petanque court, picnic seating, mature plantings and entries on Frimley Road and Lyndhurst Road.

The rose garden is well tended and beautiful. The rest of the park is great for kids and comfortable walks through a beautiful park.
