Crawshaw Park is one of the largest neighbourhood Hamilton City Council parks at 3.1 hectares in Nawton, accessed from Crawshaw Drive and developed between 1979 and 1985. The park combines a playground with mega swings, outdoor fitness equipment and basketball courts, set among open lawn and small stands of remnant kahikatea trees. The reserve forms part of a green link chain between Mooney Park, Bishops Lane Reserve and Dominion Park. Best treated as a relaxed local family stop in west Hamilton.

This is a great urban safari experience location. In the evening you can pull out a chair and sink a few Cody's, this will also help blend into the surroundings. The creatures here are not shy and probably will approach using pidgeon English for one of "dem 7 bangers" I recommend you dont feed the wild life though. Quite safe in the daytime.
