Coronation Park is a 24.6-acre Palmerston North City Council park at the corner of Tremaine Avenue and Rangitīkei Street in Takaro, used for walking, running, sports and exercise. The grounds support junior soccer and other field sports with parking, toilets and picnic tables, plus a small children’s playground near the southern toilet block. Trees lining the paths give it a leafy neighbourhood-park feel.
