Chingford Park is a Dunedin City Council park in North East Valley, originally a private estate dating back to the 1870s and home to arguably Dunedin's best collection of mature exotic trees (a legacy of merchant P.C. Neill). The wider park includes vast sports fields, a disc-golf course, an archery range, an orienteering course, the historic Chingford Stables, walking tracks, a creek with freshwater crayfish and galaxias, and a children's playground with swings, slides and a seesaw set among mature trees with open grassy space alongside. Public toilets sit at the rear of the cricket pavilion.
