Centaurus Park is a Christchurch City Council park on Centaurus Road in St Martins, two kilometres south of the central city. The play space combines a toddler-friendly council playground (slide, horse, swings, picnic spots) with the adjoining St Martins School playground at the rear, featuring a wooden fort, tyres, climbing ropes, and a basketball court that turn it into a confidence-builder for older kids. Parking is tight on Centaurus Road (Ramahana Road is usually easier), there are no public toilets, and the grass can get boggy after rain. Fava Cafe is just across the road. A well-regarded local stop rather than a destination playground.

Epic playground, lots of variety, maybe a few hazards but that’s part of the fun.

Pretty cool park but not really that safe on the fort. Looked cool but nephews weren't able to enjoy the rundown fort.
