Centaurus Park is a small Christchurch City Council reserve on Centaurus Road in St Martins, where the play space opens directly onto the adjoining St Martins School playground. Younger kids stick to the front for slides, swings and a rocking horse, while older kids head out the back to climb the wooden fort with tyres and ropes and the school's basketball court. Parking is tight on Centaurus Road so Ramahana Road is easier, and there are no public toilets on site. The Fava Cafe across the road makes it a good casual play-and-coffee stop.
