Barrington Park is a 6-hectare Christchurch City Council sports park on Barrington Street in Spreydon, beside Barrington Mall and Spreydon Library. The wider park has a cricket oval, basketball half-court, tennis court and football goals. The 2018-upgraded fenced playground packs in a sand pit with crane and conveyor belt, balance beam, block wall, seesaw, multi-play structure, slides and swings, with wheelchair-friendly ramps wide enough for adults. Toilets, picnic seating and street parking sit alongside.

An awesome park for small and big kids alike with a good range of swings, slides and climbing frames and unique upside down looking tree that kids can play hide and seek in. Only thing letting it down are the state of the public toilets next to it.
