Avebury Park is a Christchurch City Council heritage park on Eveleyn Couzins Avenue in Richmond, with an avenue of mature trees leading to the 19th-century Avebury House (now a community centre and venue for hire). Lawns, planted borders, the Richmond Community Garden (re-established post-earthquake in 2015) and a children’s playground featuring a rocktopus, slide, spring-mounted toys and swings sit beside the trees. The park marks the start of the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor; parking and toilets are on Eveleyn Couzins Avenue.

Lovely place to come and play or relax. I have only been here once but will be going more often to scheduled community events. I hear matariki here is great.

I have only taken my grandson to the toddler pool behind this building. Great place for family picnic, lots of shade, playground and pool.
