Argyle Park is an Ashburton District Council park on Middle Road at the Farm Road end in Allenton, with football and cricket pitches, two playgrounds (a newer modern play space and an older wooden fort with concrete tunnel and low slide), a sealed perimeter loop ideal for bike and scooter use plus a walking track. Toilets, parking and an off-leash dog area sit alongside; local schools use the grounds for cross country.

Lovely park esp I'm autumn. Lots exercising their dogs there Swings, slides, football field, lots of nicely placed seats to rest on. Drinking taps. Toilets here but not sure if open didn't try. Broke a few bones in leg so need a flat surface to walk on.. It is one of the few round tow. That works for me. April Golden leaves there now.. beautiful
