Whenuapai Settlement Playground is a fenced neighbourhood playground at the Brigham Creek/Totoara Road corner in Whenuapai. The play area packs in a massive tunnel slide, two extra-large swings for older kids, a basket swing, seesaw, tunnels, in-ground trampoline and climbing walls including a real stone climbing wall, set among artificial-turf sloping hills. Picnic tables, shade and parking are on site, and Auckland Council’s Mobile Library North visits fortnightly on Thursday afternoons.
