Wainoni Park is an Auckland Council neighbourhood sports and play park in Greenhithe, accessed off Churchouse Road and open daily 7am to 9pm in summer and 7am to 7pm in winter. The playground combines free water-play fountains with wide slides, swings, spinning eggcup toys, rope spinners, a climbing tower, a merry-go-round and an old tractor for kids to climb on. The wider park has cricket nets and pitches, soccer fields, picnic tables, toilets and changing rooms, drinking fountains and parking with mobility spaces.

Roam App showed us this spot for water play and it was awesome. Some great established trees surrounding the play spaces.

Not a lot of okay ground equipment, but what they have is different and interesting. The slide is wide and fun. So many things to spin on (seats, ropes and a tower). Two baby swings and two regular swings edge the park. Kids of all ages enjoy playing in the water feature with fountains. We took a walk on one of the trails to see some horses (petting not recommended). Heaps of fields to play on as well.
