Snakes and Ladders Playground sits inside Farm Cove Reserve along the Pakuranga Rotary Walkway off Bramley Drive. The bespoke concept-themed play space recreates the snakes-and-ladders board game at scale: children spin the dice and advance across numbered wooden stepping stones, climbing ladders up and riding slides down (the snakes). Around the core game are four slides, a ring climber, a pea-pod climber, an inclined crawl tube, stepping beams, swings, a sandpit, picnic tables, a learn-to-ride bike path, toilets and parking, with the wider reserve opening out to Tāmaki estuary beach and the 5km Rotary Walkway.

Brilliant park with a waterside view, with a really cool Snakes and Ladders theme. 🐍🪜 There are lots of slides and ladders and little wooden bits that stick out of the ground. 🛝 Lovely park for young children to play and also for families to have picnics by the beach. ☀️ …

We were there 19 Oct 25. We stayed on the parking near the shore, facing the body of water. We enjoyed walking on the beach as it is a low tide. The sun was shining brightly and beautifully. Dont forget your sunscreen on days like this. The snakes and ladder park was packed with happy kids and their families. Some people are walking their fur babies. Some are sitting on the grass doing picnic. Some are just strolling around, having fun under the sun. Such a wonderful place for family to bond and just relax. Note: there are toilets here. Concealed. Left side of the building.
