Fernwood Place Playground sits inside Auckland Councils Wai-O-Taiki Nature Reserve at the end of Fernwood Place in Wai O Taiki Bay, between Glen Innes and Point England. The fully fenced wooden play space backs onto native bush with horse paddocks on one side and tidal water at the street end, and packs in a wobbly log bridge, climbing net, spiderweb, slide, seesaw, carousel, monkey bars, and swings for all ages. A basketball half-court and bark play surface sit alongside. A relaxed nature-led local play stop with an unusual edge-of-bush setting.

Nice quiet fully fenced little playground. Has more than a few swings and long slide for young ones. Tyre carousel, see saw and a few other obstacles for the older kids

Not much to say. It's a safe children friendly place as it should be.
