Selwyn Reserve sits on the Mission Bay waterfront opposite Auckland's harbour and is home to a recently upgraded playground completed in 2022. Equipment includes a junior climbing tower with slide, a bank of swings (including a toddler and expression swing), rope-net climbing on twig stacks, jumping jacks and a tunnelled mound with a double embankment slide. Around it are picnic tables, public toilets, parking, BBQs and changing rooms next to the beach.
