Rooseville Park is a 27.1-acre Auckland Council reserve in central Pukekohe protecting one of the best-preserved tuff rings in the South Auckland Volcanic Field, along with one of the last remaining native forest patches in the area. Walking tracks through native bush and volcanic terrain link the entrances at Totara Avenue, Roose Avenue and Ngahere Road, with shady picnic spots, climbing trees and a small children’s playground. Loops range from a few minutes to about 45 minutes.

Beautiful, peaceful bushwalk. Lots of tracks. We walked this twice because it's a short walk, but can walk further if you decide to do the a walk through the paddocks. The dog loved it and most of the bush is shaded by large canopy trees.
